Palm Pre - A Major Threat to iPhone

Palm has released a video for its Pre exhibiting multitasking feature using apps like Fandango and Pandora. Multitasking is what iPhone is not offering and not even planned for iPhone OS 3.0.

In the video, Pre showcases:

* purchasing movie tickets via Fandango
* receiving email
* instant messaging via Google Talk
* viewing contacts
* sending email and
* listening to music via Pandora

all at the same time.

Palm is going to release Palm Pre soon which is being considered a major threat to iPhone’s growing market share. Palm has developed an entirely new platform to replace its old Pal OS.
